Danny VS Kat

Chapter 1

Danny had just finished his essay in the morning, 5 minutes before he had to go to high school. He gave a big sigh of relief and crammed the essay in his backback, along with the Fenton Thermos.

"That's a relief. I thought I'd NEVER get that Purpleback Gorilla essay done! Even though I've already done one..."

Danny looked at the clock, and his eyes widened at the time.

"WHAT?!? 7:25!! So much for sleeping tonight..." Danny mumbled, shoving his head in the pillow.

"Danny, time for school!! I hope you're ready!" His mom, Maddie, shouted from downstairs. Danny lifted his head lazily, and realized he didn't change into his pajamas. He brushes his hair a bit and snatches his backpack, rushing downstairs.

"Bye Mom, bye Dad!" Danny runs outside to meet Tucker and Sam waiting for him.

"I hope you got that essay done, Danny." Both Sam and Tucker say in unison.

"Yeah, I did....but I didn't get ANY sleep at all because of it." Danny yawns, closing his eyes as the group started walking. They got to school just in time; the first bell rang just as they entered.

"See ya in class." They all headed off to their lockers. Danny opened his, and saw a girl with cat ears, and a long fuzzy cat tail pass. He rubbed his eyes, and turned around. The girl was there, but the ears and tail weren't. Was he seeing things? He looked in the mirror again, and sure enough, the goth girl had the kitty ears and tail. He raised a brow, and blinked.

<Oookay, I'll just pretend that didn't happen.> Danny thought, grabbing his books and heading to Mr. Lancer's class. Sam and Tucker were already sitting down, and Danny walked over to join them.

"Class, I'd like you to meet a new student, Kat."
Mr. Lancer said. Kat walked in; it was the same goth girl Danny saw earlier. How ironic for the goth with cat ears and tail to be named Kat. All of the students turned in their essays, and went to lunch. On the way there, Danny told his friends about Kat.

"That's weird, Danny. Are you sure you weren't seeing things?" Sam said, wondering if Danny was just having problems because of his lack of sleep.

"I'm sure I saw what I did, Sam. I know, it may sound weird, but I think she might be like me. You know, with the powers and all." Danny felt weird, having to talk about that. They entered the lunchroom, and had lunch.
